Stevie won a New Apple Book Award in 2014 and a Readers' Favorite Gold Award in 2015 for her novel 'A House Without Windows', and has lived through many of the experiences she writes about. She is currently re-writing her debut novel 'The Porn Detective'. She writes about the realities of life, but with a little bit of humour added to sweeten the pill. Stevie loves to read autobiographies, and also likes fiction that is based on fact.
