I am inspired by the great writers of this world. You know the guys - those who have the ability to draw the reader in and seemingly freeze time as we imerse ourselves in other worlds. Worlds painted in wonderful high definition. I'm talking about those authors who can move and amuse - sometimes in equal measure. Writers who are both old and new. All the greats from the likes of Voltaire and Dickens, to our own contemporaries like McEwan, Vonnegut or Lewycka .
