Marlene Trestman is a lawyer and the author of Fair Labor Lawyer: The Remarkable Life of New Deal Attorney and Supreme Court Advocate Bessie Margolin (LSU Press, March 2016). She is currently working on a second book, The History of New Orleans Jewish Orphans Home, 1855-1946.
