Duane has been writing poetry all his life as well as creating and publishing artwork. Decades of Martial Art studies, cultural shocks, and being able to travel the world continues to feed Duane’s inspiration. At the age of 27, he joined the Army. He ended up doing two tours in Iraq with an impressive military service record. The greatest inspiration to Duane is from the experience of being ill and dying in the hospital.
