I wrote Someone Stop This Merry-Go-Round; An Alcoholic Family in Crisis, and its sequel Please, God, Not Two: This Killer Called Alcoholism, because I lost my husband and a grown daughter to their addiction.
I felt I had to share, what I thought at the time, was all the wrong handling of the addiction in my family. I added my talks at jails, rehabilitation centers, halfway home, and court-ordered programs in the sequel about Lori.
