I dabbed at writing during my formative years but became more serious in my high school and colleges years where I exceeded in literature and composition. I was taken by the writings of Dickens, Longfellow, Bronte', Ben Franklin, Will Rogers and Poe. I have written many a poem and lyric along with several shorts stories inspired by a tune, saying or overheard words.
