The search for fame and money is one of the main reasons why many people start writing (even though they won't admit it), but it takes more than money and fame to make a person stay in the writing process (notice I didn't say business?).
This is true for me because as early as 2008, I was teaching ESL in a school in Dalian, China when I published my first novel, 'To Immigrate or to Live Happily ever after?' I realized that all the money and fame I was dreaming about wasn't going to come as easily as I expected.
