Ms. McGhee's love for writing started while journaling as a young child. This turned into writing poetry & music which provided an outlet to express herself. Music was the most influential and greatest motivation since her father was a bass player who encouraged writing playing instruments as they were readily available in the home. I was raised on musical influences such as Stevie Wonder, Maze & Frankie Beverly, Miles Davis, The Jackson Five, and Anita Baker constantly being played in the home.
