Inspired by Georgette Heyer, who weaves humor with her historical details and engaging characters,I began writing Regency romance novels as a hobby and currently have published twenty titles.
Though I’ve had many different jobs, my one career has been teaching. With a Master of Education from the University of Virginia and certification with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in Adolescents and Young Adulthood/English Language Arts, I taught middle and high school students for over twenty years, with nine years in alternative education for at-risk students.
