I was born in Crystal City, Texas in 1944. My grandmother began telling me stories at the age of six. She related our stories passed on to her by our Spanish ancestors from Galicia, Castilla y León, and the Aragón regions. Her stories took me back to 1796 in Texas. I am now researching genealogical records that can date back to the early 1700s in the Victoria, Texas region.
