The author’s life experiences have included time as a construction supervisor, general builder, cabinetmaker, a painter, baker and pastry cook and a salesman. He has travelled widely around Australia and New Zealand and spent a considerable part of his life in remote areas, which include the Kimberley, Arnhem Land, and islands off the northern coast.
