Starting in the theatre, and with many spare hours to fill, I began writing. I always loved to write and have a degree in English Language that I thought I should put to good use. My regional books, as yet unpublished, have been compared to those by Catherine Cookson and Josephine Cox.
I also write on diverse subjects: Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Victorian times, family sagas set in mining and cotton communities, a teaser about Hitler's illegitimate son, a couple of historical romances, my autobiography (a never to be completed story it seems), witchcraft, the recession, etc.etc. A good tal more...
