I am a community college librarian, former caregiver to a mother with Alzheimer's, and I am a cat mom. Most of my writing has been about my family, especially my mother, and about growing up on a farm in Cleburne County Alabama. I've also done a series "Cat Mama Librarian's Cats" about my four cats, Cocoa, Tiger, Misty, and Elsa. I have walked for 28 years in memory of my mother with the Alzheimer's Association in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Royalties from my books go to this cause. more...
