Born in New Orleans, Louisiana (the new Atlantis) and raised in 12 years of military school, Mike is a product of the emerging America of the 1960's and years of classical training. "Writing has always been a part of my life." says Mike "I was told as a child to be seen and not heard. Print became my visual voice." Mike' poetry and articles have been published in both the United States and Germany. Mike has won several awards for poetry.
