The MKC Daughters of Destiny, founded by Miriam K. Center in 1986, was born out of a longing for light and a search for inner peace. The weekly meetings that sprung up were a clear indication that all women share similar issues, no matter where they live. Conversations heard on subways in New York City might be repeated on a bus in Topeka or in a coffee shop in Santa Monica. The issues thread together.
