Elizabeth Melton Parsons is a freelance writer for a local newspaper and other publications, published author, award winning poet and artist. An English major, she was born in the state of Michigan and grew up dividing her time between Michigan and South Florida. As a child she loved the Everglades in South Florida and still misses the ocean.
