Darlene Solomon-Rogers is a native Oregonian, born and raised in NE Portland. Darlene is currently working on getting a publisher for her first book a children’s story, Entitled “ Black girl can I comb your hair?” due to be released this year. At this time she has released a limited edition chap book of poetry of the same name. Darlene believes that through her misery God has given her a ministry. She mentors youth and single mothers. She volunteers as a motivational speaker for women in domestic violence shelters. She works for a non-profit organization assisting homeless youth and displaced more...
