I was born in Windsor, On. Canada to a Canadian bricklayer and an Americanhousewife. I was the first of three girls, but middle of five kids total in my family. With my dad's job, we moved around quite a lot making it very difficult for me tostay in one school for long or even to make any friends. With my lack of companions and my excess of books I thrived inside my own imagination, delving deeply into the world of books.
