I was raised on Fairy Tales and mythology, so my work tends to be colored that way; with mythical creatures and far off places. I am also influenced by the 'inital' authors - CS Lewis, JM Barrie (Peter Pan is my favorite story), JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling. I also love other modern greats like Tamora Pierce and Christopher Paolini.
