I started writing in a little gated community in Central Louisiana called Hunt Correctional Center. I ran across the book of a friend called, "Pecan Candy and Huck-a-Bucks" while hiding in the prison library from a convict I borrowed food from. I read the first few pages and decided to take it back to the Dormitory and read it. I loved it, so I decided to write. I failed terribly in the beginning, because I didn't know much about English mechanics.
