Born in Chicago, Giacomo LaMantia has lived in Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark and France. He earned a Master’s Degree in European Studies and worked for years at the ABN-AMRO bank in Chicago, before joining the government to work in public service. He currently divides his time between Chicago, Ill. and Paris, France.
