I have been writing since I recieved my first Dean Koontz book at the age of nine. He is my idol and my mentor despite the fact that he most likely doesn't know it. I started writing fiction as an escape from the harships of my life and then found my works to have entertainment value to my family and peers. Since that time, I have focused my writing solely on the readers. I write even my most outrageous stories with underlying messages.
