I was born and raised in England and grew up with a passion for history. It is hard not to be influenced when it surrounds you every day. I grew up devouring every kind of book I could get my hands on, but developed a special fondness for Georgette Heyer, Catherine Cookson and Chaucer. Don't know why Chaucer.
