James Riser was born in Colton, California and has lived in Southern California all his life. Recently he has moved to San Bernardino with his bride to be, Mika Renee'.
James is a mondern Splatter Punk author. His influences take root in the early formation of the sub-genre, Clive Barker, David J. Schow, John Skipp and Craig Spector. He also takes heed from the fore-fathers of Modern Horror itself; Lovecraft, Poe, and Stoker.
