As a child I loved to read. We had no television, so Mom would buy us kids comics fromn the drugstore when she got her medicine. I always dreamed of being a writer. . . and I DID!!! I wrote my first novel during my freshman year of high school. . . it was called "The Black Angles" (Angels) and was about a street gang, even though I had never been to the city. I had read David Wilkerson's "The Cross and the Switchblade" and I had been greatly impressed. I have always loved books, and seeing my very own words in print gives me a pleasure hard to describe.
