My eariest memories were of clogs - not the Dr Scholl variety but the shiny black metal reinforced workers clogs - hundreds of them clomping through the cobbled streets on their way to the mills and factories of the North of England. I write infrequently (except the compulsory essays of my university degree course). Like many, I write when the mood 'takes me' and I write about what hurts or tickles at that moment.
After three memorable years at Bristol University I got my degree - BSc (Hons) Social Policy.
