J. Lewis Dean is 45 years old and was born in Mississippi, but grew up in southern Alabama until he was 16 years old. He first began to feel the desire to write and create his own stories at around the age of 12 years old. He would make up and write his stories to tell his friends while hanging around outside where he lived. As he aged of course the more serious and more indepth his stories became.
