I have been writing since I was really little-around five years old. My grandfather, Philip Birmingham (a fellow author in the den) was my greatest influence. He "published" a story I wrote called, The Little Kitten. It wasn't all that good, but over time I became my own tutor and developed my own style. The first work I wrote, that I am still pretty proud and fond of is an Eighth-grade research paper about pirates. I added my own creative twist to the paper by incorporating a story into it.
