I became a writer out of my passion for telling stories. I have written since I was about six years old, when I wrote my first song on a small ukele that my father bought me. From there I progressed into music by learning to play the guitar (becoming a singer/songwriter) and also played the trumpet in the school band for a good many years at first chair. This eventually led to a time in the Christian Music ministry where I recorded two CDs and toured churches and coffeehouses for about two and a half years.
Thus I earned the handle 'The Singing Author'.
