I have been writing for years but never had the confidence to consider publishing before. I joined a local writer's group and they have been invaluable source of inspiration and help. My current project is a historical fiction based on actual events.

My first novel, The Toughest Gang in Five Points, began when someone mentioned that a local bank was started by a child who arrived in my town via the orphan train. It piqued my interest so I researched the journey these children took. It's an amazing story.
