Why I Write. My destiny to write began on June 30, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. I entered this world only weighing three pounds and fighting for every breath inside an incubator for three months. I overcame the odds and lived to begin a trek to manhood filled with intrigue and drama. I grew up in a single parent home with financial challenges. Bringing words to life on paper began in the sixth grade. My upbringing and daily inner city challenges were my inspiration to write.
