I hold several degrees but my most important teachers were travel and reading the likes of W. H. Auden, Elizabeth Bishop, Whitman, Dickinson, Rilke, Milosz, Brodsky, Karin Boye, Muriel Rukeyser, Ruth Stone, Edith Sodergran, Moa Martinson, Marta Tikkanen. I am very interested in Scandinavian writers, woman imparticular. I have published 10 chapbooks and have seen my poems in many journals, and poetic venues.
