My husband says I was born an old soul, in times of worldwide change... amidst the backdrop of Sesame Street's debut and man walking on the moon. Growing up, I was somewhat of a loner, but I always felt a special kinship with my English teachers. They seemed to understand that literature took me places that my feet would never wander. Back then, I wrote for them. But somewhere in the process I realized the cathartic power writing possesses and now I write for me.
