Michael Schindler spent the early part of his childhood growing up on Elmendorf Air Force Base where his dad was employed by the Alaskan Air Command as an engineer. His dad later transferred to the Army Corp of Engineers and Mike spent the next fifteen years under the continued influence of men and women in uniform.
