The major influences in my writing have been Gabriel Garcia Marquez's, A Hundred Years of Solitude, Charles Dickens' Tale of Two Cities, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra's, Don Quixote, and the extraordinay writings of Edgar Allan Poe.  As for my poetry, my main influences were Jose de Diego (Puertorican Poet who was also an abolitionist) and Jose Angel Buesa (Cuban writer who wrote about love with his heart and soul).
