My education is in English, Physics and Russian. My passion is the stories people tell, which means history, myth, and fiction. Influences range from Aquinas to Zelazny. Oscar Wilde's idea of prose poetry had a large influence on me, as did Ambrose Bierce's "The Devil's Dictionary." I am a writer because the alternative is inconceivable.
