I am influenced by observation. I'm a people watcher. Whether it is something on TV or in front of my eyes, I draw from the human experience and present it as entertainment. With that said, my style is raw and far from sugarcoated, appealing to those who have never finished a book as well as avid readers.

My favorite authors are Terry McMillan, E. Lynn Harris, and Sistah Souljah. Each has mastered particular areas of their craft, making their style unique.
