I grew up spending my summers on beautiful Lake Champlain. Vermont has to be the reason God gave us Christmas. I wrote about the beauty of the land and the way it calls to you.
Because I could never afford to live there I looked, and I found Ela, in North Carolina. A small town nestled between Cherokee and the quaint town of Bryson Ciry. I step into the past where the pace of life was slower, and people still say hello to you, even if they don't know you. And the winters are shorter. I love it too.
