I was afraid to publish my first book. I was afraid to write my book. I was afraid to write down the thoughts that would not leave my mind.
However, I did it anyway.
I am tired most of the time. I haven't written on my newest book Gas Station Divas in months. I have thoughts rattling around in my head that won't go away but I still don't write. I avoid the 60 pages of manuscript visible on my desk like a bill that needs to be paid yet the bank account is empty.
Anxiety-filled days, sporatic waves of panic--all goes with the territory of publishing your inner self.
