I grew up in the Louis H. Pink Housing Projects in Brooklyn, New York. I now live in Upstate New York which has been my home for the past 23 years. I have been writing for over 35 years. I am a member of the Broome/Tioga Branch NAACP, National Council Of Negro Women (NCNW) Semper Fidelis Sectional, International Society Of Poets and a freelance writer for the Press & Sun Bulletin Newspaper.
