"As the Eagle Cries, Sharon's Journey Home"  is a true story of a journey I took both physically and spiritually questioning my own spiritual beliefs when my daughter laid in a coma for 3 and 1/2 years.  I found guidance and peace in the teachings and traditions of Native American (Lakota) spirituality.  It was only after two vision quest experiences in the mountains of  Albuquerque  and a deep spiritual connection to my daughter in a coma that I was able to make the final decision to remove her feeding tube.
