Ms. Allison was born and raised in southwest Michigan the last of twelve children. She first started penning at the age of sixteen when she wrote her first poem "Save the Children". With much encouragement from family and friends she continued to write and published her first article "Men of Bondage" In the local paper "The Citizen" along with poetry.
