I never lived anywhere that had roaches before..except once, on a short stay close to Houston, Tx. The experience was so horrific that it left me deathly afraid of them. I was in a home for pregnant girls called Teen Challenge and they crawled all over the bunkbeds at night, hundreds of them. So I guess I now have a phobia. Bad one!

Creepy, crawly It's horror crawling all over my floors They stalk at night Crawling all over the bed Creepy, ugly creatures It's fright night for me everynight Once the lights go out They are all about Creepy buggers They make my skin crawl The thought of seeing one terrifies me Drives me beyond my limits Creepy, disgusting I can't sleep for fear I awoke one night with one running across me I screamed and screamed Creepy nights My screams swallowed in the dark My hearts pounding Chills racing through me Creepy horrors It's more than I can bare Up for nights now Whether there be one or three hundred For me one is to many Sleep forever eludes me now The creepy crawly Frightening horrors of the night have me trapped in their might I must keep watch Weary I spray all night This all consuming fear won't leave me Creepy, irrational They crawl through the night The cats chase them Play with them, stupid things won't eat them They leave them for me Fear won't go It seems now to be all I know Creepy crawly Horrors of the night Continue to leave me in fright My eyes scream for sleep There is no release here to be found NOTE: Phobias are an irrational fear but so real (I do plan to fog the house in a few days, I have to wait till I can do something with my pets though) If you read my bio then you know that everywhere I have lived before here was cold country. Meaning...NO BUGS EEEWWWW!!!!!!

You wouldn't live in Texas...would you? We have these huge roaches (although we call them waterbugs). GAD those things give me nightmares. I freak when I see them...thanks. If I don't sleep well tonight, it'll be your fault.

Chilling. Terrifying. EXTREMELY visual and well written.

We don't have many roaches here; they spray every month, but once in a while, one'll get in, as will waterbugs (THOSE are even worse! GAD, GAD, GAD!! NIGHTMARE CITY!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!)!

*shudder* oooh, gave me chills...I lived in a place once that had roaches...the most disgusting thing I can even imagine...I can completely understand your phobia *blech*
