I hate these short summaries. If my poem doesn't speak for itself then it is a failure.

Your warmth is soulhead's pillow your laughter - satin sheets of sinless joy on my body's memory
If my sleep is good you are there to make it so to give me rest and respite
In the winter-length nights you are mine again and again we are a single entity stronger than when separate like weak strands of string| we entwine and embrace to become a rope-strong tightly woven line to our salvation
We explore forgotten things we thought we knew better but obviously not well enough
It may never come to pass in the world of wide-awake that we share lives again
But for as long as life permits me to have them You will inhabit my dreams
This is so intimate and universal, in this cybernetic, bizarre world fo silence. Tuff to explain to someone who has never turned one on. Beautiful....you have written with grace straight from your soul....and thats the most honest way to write I think (but what the hell do I know lol)

I would welcome such dreams - welcome the feeling of support, security, sharing - even if just in a dream. It would serve to fortify my spirit throughout the lonely daylight hours. Well conceived and presented.
A gorgeous offering, Roger with no further explanation required. Your images are vivid and your painful longing woven deeply into each verse. There are those who remain within our heart always, no matter the physical distance. Sometimes all we can do to ease the pain of their absence is dream and hope that the tears of joy that stain our pillow will carry us through our time of wide-awake.

"soulhead's pillow" ... "the world of wide-awake"... You expose your inner self and with your poetic phrasing cause an imprint on the reader. The ache is palpable, but very quiet, too.
