Poem Artwork

I have loved you for a lifetime
Many centuries maybe more
We have run the gamut laughing
Skipping heartbeats wanting more
Tripping into valleys
In the clover we made love
Watching heavens cinema
Clutching closely you above
Your shadow covered my eyes
From the midnight brilliant moon
In your pleasures I laid waiting
As my passions you festooned
We danced like wayward Gypsies
With brightly colored pleasures
We drenched our tears in raindrops
We challenged stormy weather
We fought the fears of terror
When separately we parted
We died to be together
Begin again what we had started
To love you is infinity
Dancing centuries away
I wear you as each freckle
Even now as yesterday

Dear Susan,

I have been privileged to see and hear the Gypsy's song and dance ... it comes from the soul. And I am privileged now to read your work.

Love, Joy & Peace,
Joseph

I cannot find a new word to describe how brilliant this write is or how vivid are the word pictures you created in it. I felt a strange sense of being a part of the dance and could see you in the images you drew on. A you and I were born with Gypsy hearts and only time and distance imprisoned us where we sit.
