this is so beautiful, and how many, sigh...infinite?
you, Susan have such a way of expressing the desire and passions and more that Love brings, this is simply beautifully done and to sit and write after watching the film, well...you were and are inspired.
This is so evocative, the questions of the heart and soul when one is so much in love...
this is a lovely and more piece so full of desire and romance and your beautiful heart and inspired poetic spirit!

A stunning adaption of that all time classic " Gone With The Wind "..one of my favorite films..

I doubt if that glorious film will ever be equalled again, and who can ever forget Rhett Butler's timeless parting shot " Frankly...I don't give a damn "...;-)

Deeply yearning write of passion and desire to find and capture that one true love which sometimes always seems just around the next bend. YOu do these poems so well perhaps because of your passionate southern blood. Regardless it is wonderful.

These poetic sighs fit the year that this film was made because it was also the year that Wuthering Heights was released - both intense love stories. The intense but fragrantly so style bears the stamp of the dialogue that permeates throughout the Emily Bronte classic. I have yet to sit through Gone With The Wind (I think my mother watches it twice an hour) but I understand how its theme has gripped you.

Very well done, Susan. You bring out a refreshing question to which I have only this to offer: One may love only one person at a time...deeply and sincerely, for true love is a full-time span of living, without side shows. From my vaulted perch (older than some), I'm certain that too many so-called 'Loves" are brief and passionate outings and indulgencies. There is a wonderful and satisfying difference, and the two parties know for certain when this is the state of affairs. .

This was extrodinarly well writen Susan.. God, who could ever forget Rhett Buttler?? No such men as him anymore..God, that's my favorite all time movie..I get very emotional watching it, lol..Thanks..Your a true southern Belle!!!
