Masquerading as "the happy pair"

Parish participants, this habitual praise

Tends to numb our reality since

You nor I are no longer what Heaven intended

Hope, now morphed to hardness

Expectation exorcised premature empathy

Arguments soured our affectons

Responsibilities exterminated romance

Together we are in name only

The great fear of many couples. "Responsibilities exterminated romance." The sad story of so many marriages but one we can prevent with a little work. Good title and creative, provocative write.
