Poem Artwork

getting over you

is much harder than i thought. . .

time to realize

the effect of a longing

so sine qua non

that i can't relive our past,

still i ever pine

for the times we'd laugh out loud

dance ever so close,

actin' foolish in public

with our delphic jokes,

our quests to right all the wrongs. . .

i do miss that fun

like a feather gone adrift

far away from view. . .

so much harder than i thought

getting over you,

( just. . . just 2 get . . . over you)

You cant get over with anything. It always stays. Hidden under dust of time.

This is so lovely and so sad. It's hard getting over someone who meant that much to you, but by your own words you have recreated them eternaly.

You touched on a great deal of truth here. Nicely done.

That is cool how you compare losing someone to a feather drifting, so true of how it feels. It seems as though our feet don;t touch the ground when falling in or out of love, but for different reasons. Excellent.

Missing another soul leaves a wound, a deep raw wound. Your words reflect the pain.

Hey beaut, this does not explain if it's a relationship or tuther.

But our short lives carry on.

This is so moving, one prays you find the peace, and rewind the clock......x
