Patience has no virtue--
not by Grace's meaning;
Patience stole a man
once saved by Grace's goodness,
lov'd by Grace alone
until Patience came along
and spread her virtue
in the bed once laced by Grace
now splatter'd with Shame

Author's Note: The poem's meaning is not necessarily about infidelity, but more about trust and commitment to a cause, as opposed to disloyalty and deceitfulness in everyday dealings of life, as in the phrase "you made your bed, now lie in it." Just another one of those precious "Pieces" those from my maternal influences, related and otherwise. (FYI: A manequin holding veil, not a live person).
