I doubt either would really be better for the country, but at the very least some new blood in the office might put the country back on track, since the guy we got is dead from the neck up...maybe if we were to dig up Jerry Garcia or Jim Morrison, either one has to be better even dead than this guy alive...a stupid opinion I realize but my dealings with politics is not too smart anyway...Peace is the ONLY way, Ed & Rufuz

Even worse than those "bloody hands", perhaps, Cynth'ya, would be sitting on our own! Just once, I'd like to see what would actually happen if every single American who is of age to vote WOULD! What an amazing mandate... unlike the current situation. Sigh... once again, you write bravely, boldly and from the gut! YES... for god's sake, it IS about the children! Well, from comments I've seen so far, one isn't much better than the other. One dug a snake pit, the other has to try and shoo out the snakes and clean up the venomous taste in the mouth of the world regarding our beloved America. So here's my advice to myself:

"Vote for the sake of the babies who may be able to change this mess, because those of us who are before them, will be depending on them. Those babies are watching us, and need our protection. None of us are saints, but some of us at least are willing to listen. Question is: who among them is truly listening to the cries of the babies, their mothers, fathers, and who is supporting their cause? Terror, to me, is ignoring the needs of families and children. These hurricanes are here to open the ears of those too greedy to listen. Always love hearing your comments, pro/con/curious doesn't matter. At all starts at the state and local levels, and the children of the world are watching too. They need a friend, and the world wants a listener."
. . . and poets to speak out and not sit on their hands. So vote with one, and keep your eyes on the oil that Bush is now sticking his hands in over in Libya since Iraq is a conditional mess.
